Catherine Cookson’s The Cinder Path

With full permission from the Cookson Estate, this is the official adaptation of her novel The Cinder Path.

This is a perfect script for amateur companies up and down the country to get their teeth into – and casting is incredibly versatile.

The smallest cast size is only 4M, 4F, with those eight actors playing a multitude of roles.

However, the full cast of characters in the play is 19M, 10F. So any amount of doubling within those numbers is possible.
