There’s a slight hiatus in the Dracula rehearsals at the moment, which means I can focus a bit on the project I’m involved in next week.
It’s the second in a series of script-in-hand playreadings, put together by Arts In Touch, taking place at the Bridge Hotel in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. I was involved briefly in the first piece last week: ‘Spending A Penny’ by Christina Maiden – mostly teching the show, but also reading in one small scene.
But this time round I play more of an acting role in a great script by John Hickman called ‘Looked After‘.
To find out more about the piece, take a look at this short interview with the writer, in which he talks about the play, his influences, as well as his further ambitions as a writer.
